Facilities will be performing electrical work which will momentarily take down the Olin Science Hall network. This work is necessary to prevent future network outages caused by power.
Please do not edit files over the network or submit information online during this time period as your work may be lost when the network outages occur.

We are currently experiencing disruptions on the network in the Brant Arts Center which we believe is due to a power outage and are investigating. Our technicians are looking into this to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We will update this post as soon as we have an update.

Resolved: Login Problems with Notebowl

It appears that Notebowl users are now able to log into http://notebowl.denison.edu. We continue to investigate the reason behind the outage. Please contact the Help Desk at 740-587-6395 if you are still experiencing login issues after you have first rebooted your computer.

This morning we received reports of users not being able to log into Notebowl. ITS is working with Notebowl to resolve this as quickly as possible.
An update will be posted here as soon as the problem is corrected.

Some people are experiencing problems accessing Google Drive. It is slow and sometimes does not come on at all but gets an error. Support has been contacted.
New Self-Service Banner Module and Styling
As part of the release for the new Self-Service Banner module, the Employee Dashboard, ITS will also be re-styling the look and feel of Self-Service Banner. The Employee Dashboard will be available from MyDenison (under the Employment tab) and will serve as a supplemental service to the Banner Self-Service employee information. The new styling will also help to keep our Self-Service Banner screens consistent with the look and feel of the MyDenison portal. It is important to note that these styling changes will be deployed across all Self-Service Banner modules. There should be no changes to the functionality of the current Self-Service Banner modules.

There have been a few more power outages that have caused network outages since the last update. Currently the Bryant Arts Center is without network. Once power seems to have stabilized we will work on bringing the Bryant network back online.

ITS is planning to install latest updates on servers hosting shared network drives (PERSONAL, SHARED, MEDIA, SCRATCH, etc) on Thursday, 1/5/17 between 4:00am and 7:30am. As these updates are being applied, there will be short outages for the above network drives and printing while servers are updated and rebooted to complete installation. Please do not update files stored on the network file servers during these time periods.
