Between 5:00 and 7:30 AM on Tue 7/9/19 and Thur 7/11/19, ITS will be performing an upgrade of network login services used for access to computers while on campus. During this maintenance period we do not anticipate any user visible service disruptions.

If you experience any login issues to campus computers or eduroam wireless network after this time, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 740-587-6395.

Between 5:00 and 7:00 AM on Thur 6/27/19, ITS will perform maintenance on services that handle logins. During this maintenance period, there will be a brief 1-2 minute window when users will not be able to login to BigRedID based services such as Denison Apps, MyDenison, NoteBowl and other services.

If you experience login issues with BigRedID based services after this time, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 740-587-6395

ITS will be performing maintenance on the remote network access equipment (VPN) on Wednesday 6/26/19 from 5:30-7:00am which will result in the loss of the remote network access off of campus.

Please do not plan on being able to access the network remotely during this time period as your connection will be lost when the network maintenance occurs.

On Wednesday 6/26/19 ITS will be removing the “Denison Guest” wireless network. This is a legacy wireless network that should no longer be used by students and staff. If you notice your device is still connected to this network please move your device to the “eduroam” or “Denison-Play” wireless networks.

Note: the “Denison-Guest” wireless network will remain operational. “Denison-Guest” is a separate wireless network that is used for guests of the campus.

UPDATE: While restarting cognos services this morning, an internal file was locked and prevented cognos from starting. The lock file was corrected and cognos was able to start-up as expected.

ITS will be performing network maintenance on Friday 6/14/19 from 5:00-7:00 am which may result in the loss of the wired or wireless network in the following locations.
