The outage in Beta House seems to have stabilized.  We are currently monitoring the equipment to verify everything remains up.

There is currently another outage at Beta House.  This is the same device that was having the issue on Monday.  We are looking into the issue now.

Update 3/2/15 9:42am:

The equipment causing the outage was swapped out and has been in place since 9:42am.  We will continue to monitor to make sure it remains stable.

Technical Services identified a network outage that started yesterday and has gotten continually worse into today. The outage interrupts network service for Beta House.  We will be working on the issue this morning. Updates will be posted as available.

The interview for March 13 has been cancelled. Thanks to all those who attended the March 11 and 12 interviews.

Candidates for the Instructional Technologist position will be on campus on March 11, 12, and 13. All teaching faculty are invited to attend a 10 minute sample faculty training session and 20 minute interview session from 1:00-1:30PM in the Library Lower Level E-classroom (LL102) on these days. ITS will be performing network maintenance on Thursday 2/26/15 from 5:00-7:00AM which may result in the loss of the wired or wireless network in the following locations.

All maintenance has completed successfully.

The maintenance is taking longer than expected. The Campus Calendar is online but may be sluggish while database maintenance continues.

Between 6:00 and 7:00 AM, ITS will perform routine maintenance to the Campus Calendar infrastructure. During this maintenance period users may not be able to view calendar events and the feed in MyDenison may be unavailable.

Technical Services identified a network outage from 3:47pm to 3:54pm on 2/24/15. The outage interrupted services for Rose House, Physical Plant, and Kappa Sigma. A power shortage is the suspected cause of the outage. If another source of the outage is identified we will update this post accordingly.
