At some point during the upgrade process, you might notice a Windows/Macintosh notification regarding your antivirus protection is off. It should resolve itself after a short period of time once the new software version is installed and running. If the Windows/Macintosh notification stays there permanently, please contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@denison.edu or 740-587-6395.

Google has resolved the issue. Users are now able to access Google Drive File Stream (GDFS) again. Some users may need to re-login and authenticate to the GDFS app.

Orginal Post 1/22/2020 3:13PM

Information Technology Services (ITS) has received and confirmed reports that Google Drive File Stream (GDFS) is giving users an error that the service is not enabled for Denison account holders, for both Windows and macOS devices. Denison is working with Google on the issue, and we will update here as soon as we learn more.

Google Drive (on the web) is still functioning as expected at this time.
