RESOLVED: Issues Sending or Receiving Faxes

Update 2/25/22 4:00PM:

The cause of the issue with select Fax2Mail users not receiving inbound faxes or delivery reports has been identified and addressed. Outbound faxes were being sent but the delivery reports were directed to Spam as were inbound faxes. A rule has been put in place to prevent that happening in the future.

Update 2/24/22 5:00PM:

If you use the Fax2Mail service and are missing an inbound fax or a delivery report for a fax you sent, please check the Spam folder of the email account associated with your fax line. If you find emails from Fax2Mail there, please open the message and click Report Not Spam which will move the email to the account’s Inbox. ITS will be following up to address this issue and will communicate directly with affected Fax2Mail users.

ITS is investigating an issue with two fax lines and associated email accounts that use the Fax2Mail service. If you experience issues sending or receiving faxes, please notify the ITS Service Desk via email at servicedesk@denison.edu and include the email address you use to send and receive faxes. Updates will be posted here.
