[UPDATE] PLANNED OUTAGE: Do Not Use Jabber without VPN and Off-Campus Denison Cisco Phones Tues. 4/12/2022 from 7:00-7:30PM Eastern Time

The planned update was NOT completed successfully and will be rescheduled for a future date. In the meantime, Jabber without MRA and off-campus Denison Cisco phones should be functioning properly. If they are not, please report the issue to the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@denison.edu or 740-587-6395.

Please do not plan on being on calls on Jabber WITHOUT VPN or on a Denison Cisco phone located off-campus on Tuesday 4/12/2022 from 7:00 to 7:30PM. Denison’s phone vendor will be applying a critical security update to the element of Denison’s phone environment that supports these devices during this time period which will interrupt calls.

If you need to use Jabber during this time period, please connect to GlobalProtect VPN BEFORE opening Jabber. (If you already have Jabber open, please close it before you connect to the GlobalProtect VPN client, and then reopen Jabber after you connect.)
