The updates took longer than expected, but they are now complete. We apologize if you experienced outages during the time frame of 7:00AM to 8:00AM If you experience any network issues, please report them to the ITS Help Desk at 740-587-6395 or helpdesk@denison.edu.

Original Message: ITS will be performing scheduled network maintenance on 7/11/2013 during the maintenance window of 5:00a.m. to 7:00a.m. These configuration updates are expected to produce a 15-30 minute outage for Academic Quad and Athletics.

Update: 8:35am, 7/14/13 Data has been successfully reloaded.

ODS data has not updated since July 5. The entire data set will be reloaded with Banner data on Saturday, July 13, between 5:00 AM and 5:00 AM, Sunday July 14.

Cognos reports written against the ODS packages will reflect data as of July 5 until the reload is complete . If you need assistance with data needs in the interim, please email helpdesk@denison.edu and include “ODS Refresh issue” in the subject line. Include the Cognos report name, as well as relevant Banner forms or Focus reports that were previously in use if applicable.

More detail: The connection between Banner and ODS was inadvertently severed. Once a full reload occurs which may take up to 24 hours to complete, normal daily data flows from Banner to the ODS will resume.

7:50am Update: Maintenance is complete.

MyDenison, Banner, Self-Service, Xtender, Cognos, Smartcall and the Online Directory will be unavailable Wednesday, July 10, 5AM – 7AM while work occurs to address potential sources of the recent issues. ITS will be closely monitoring these services after the changes are made.

If you experience any issues with any of the above services after Wednesday at 7AM, please report them to the ITS Help Desk (helpdesk@denison.edu or 740-587-6395).
