Information Technology Services (ITS) will close for Winter Break at 5 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2022. We will reopen at 8 AM on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Please consult the information below if you need technology support before or during Winter Break.
Before Winter Break
- See our new TOPdesk article that shares Out of the Office tips, including setting up a Gmail vacation reply, a Google Calendar out of office entry, and an alternate greeting for your Denison voicemail.
- If you have technology support needs now, contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@denison.edu or 740-587-6395 as soon as possible to get assistance before Winter Break.
During Winter Break
If you suspect a technology service outage or major issue, please check this site, Netnotes, to see if an outage or issue has been reported. If you do not find relevant information, please report issues to the Denison University operator at 740-587-0810. Please do not report outages or major issues directly to the ITS Service Desk during Winter Break.
If you have an individual question or issue, consult these resources:
- MyDenison contains a great deal of technology service information. Use the MyDenison search box or browse the Information Technology Services section to find information.
- The Knowledge Base in the TOPdesk Self-Service Portal contains many helpful step-by-step technology instructions.
- LinkedIn Learning provides access to video tutorials on many technology topics.
If you can’t find an answer and would like to submit a ticket with the Service Desk during Winter Break, you have three options:
- Submit a ticket using the TOPdesk self-service portal.
- Send an email to servicedesk@denison.edu.
- Leave a voicemail with the Service Desk at 740-587-6395.
We’ll respond to your requests as soon as possible once Denison reopens Tuesday, January 3, 2023.
