Google has issued an emergency security update for all Chrome users to address a critical security vulnerability. To protect your computer(s), ITS recommends you check for updates in Chrome on your Denison and personal computer(s) to update Chrome to the latest version immediately. ITS is pushing the Chrome update out to Denison computers but it may take time for the update to reach your computer. Following the check for updates procedure below will ensure you receive the update immediately if your computer has not already received it.

Check for Chrome Updates on a Mac or PC

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More .
3. Click Help About Google Chrome.
4. If an update is available, Chrome will start to apply the update. Otherwise, it will tell you Chrome is up-to-date. As of March 28th, version 99.0.4844.84 is the latest release.

5. Click Relaunch.
   IMPORTANT! Until you click Relaunch your browser is not updated and is still vulnerable.
