Completed: Phone System Conversion

On Monday, July 15th, ITS completed the move of 797 campus phones over to our new CBTS phone system.  The team worked closely with CBTS engineers and Dialpad support to complete the transition.

If you are experiencing any issues with your new phone, please contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@denison.edu.

Setting Up Your Voicemail

Please take a moment to set up your voicemail on your CBTS account (see FAQ for instructions).  Visit https://my.denison.edu/phones for more information about the new system.

Checking Your Phone
The LCD display on your CBTS phone should be illuminated and displaying your name and phone number. If it is not illuminated, or if it is displaying a message like “Registration in progress” or “Detecting Network”, please turn the phone over and unplug the network cable (which is in the port closest to the left side of the phone), wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. It will take a minute or two for the phone to boot up. If it still does not display your name and phone number, please contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@denison.edu.

Phone Training

ITS is offering training for the new phone system through August 2nd in Fellows Hall 303, from 1:30 – 2:30pm every weekday, except Thursday. ITS will also provide additional training sessions closer to the start of the Fall semester for those who are off-campus during the summer.
