Xtender, part of the Banner Document Management (BDM) system will recieve software patches and be unavailable on Tuesday, 8/16/16 from 7AM until 8AM.

Reminder: SciQuest Production Environment Downtime for 16.2 Promotion

This is a reminder that the SciQuest production environments will be unavailable from Friday, July 29, 2016 at 9 p.m. EDT until Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 12 p.m. EDT for the 16.2 release upgrade. Once the upgrades have been completed, you will be notified via email. At that time, you may begin using the new 16.2 features and functionality.

If you have any questions or issues, please submit them through the Customer Support Portal.

Update:  The JobSub updates are taking longer than expected.  We will send more information when the updates have been completed.

Original Post:

The Banner Jobsub process will be updated Monday morning, 6/6, from 6 AM until 8 AM.  Banner will be available during this upgrade, however, any batch jobs posted to Banner Jobsub will not be processed.

If the maintenance work is completed earlier than anticipated, this post will be updated when Banner Jobsub is available.

Update:  The Banner upgrade work has been completed. 

Original Post:  There will be a critical upgrade performed for all Banner services, Saturday, 3/12/16 from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  All Banner services (INB, Self-Service Banner and MyDenison Banner links) will be unavailable during this update.

(Please Note:  ITS anticipates that this upgrade will be completed by 6 PM, Saturday evening; however, and if necessary, ITS will extend the upgrade outage throughout the entire weekend.)

5:30 a.m.: VPN upgrade is complete.

An upgrade to the Remote Access/VPN environment is planned for tomorrow morning (Thursday 2/4/16) from 5:00-6:00AM. You will not be able to connect to remote.denison.edu via the web page or Network Connect/Junos Pulse/Pulse Secure during this time. An update will be posted to netnotes.denison.edu as soon as the upgrade is complete.

If you use the Network Connect, Junos Pulse, or Pulse Secure VPN cilent, the next time you connect after the upgrade you will be prompted to update your VPN client. If you are not prompted and the connection is not successful, please remove the current version of the VPN client and then reinstall it.
