We’ve been working on a new update to MyDenison’s theme which will allow users to easily navigate MyDenison from a Mobile device. This update will change the look and feel for the site but the majority of the layout will remain intact and should feel familiar. We’re planning on releasing this update Tuesday April 23rd between 5:30 and 7:00am. This release will also include some security updates and other bug fixes. As always feel free to check out the details in our release notes after the update is complete.

ITS will be performing Banner (INB) and Self-Service Banner (SSB) maintenance and upgrades, this Saturday, 3/16 – 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Banner, Self Service and all related systems such as Xtender, Axiom, Xtender, Jaggaer (formerly SciQuest) e-procurement, Cognos, and portions of MyDenison that rely on Banner data will be unavailable during this maintenance window.

When the maintenance work is completed, this post will be updated with additional information.

This update will include some new features including a new Service Status page as well as a section on the homepage and some better search results for some missing pages and services. Plus more bug fixes and styling tweaks. We’ve got a mid summer update coming to MyDenison Tuesday morning June 19th. MyDenison may be unavailable from 7am to 7:30am. This update will include some general updates to the Drupal platform that MyDenison is built on. As well as a few custom updates that our new student worker John Fernow has been helping us with. We’ve brought images back to our news feeds as well as moved our Campus Events feed to our internal platform so we’re not relying on Yahoo anymore. We brought back the link to the NY Times subscription on the US tab of the News section. Plus a bunch of bug fixes and small styling tweaks. As always feel free to check out the details in our release notes after the update is complete.

Banner and Self Service are currently available but will be unavailable from 12:15 to approximately 12:45PM today for emergency maintenance related to the earlier outage. During this time Internet-native Banner, Self Service, any MyDenison modules that connect to Self Service (for instance, Time Reporting), the MyDenison Campus Directory, and the eProcurement connection to Banner for PO-related functions will be unavailable. This post will be updated again as soon as the emergency maintenance is complete and all Banner-related services are back in service.

Banner is currently down. This affects Internet-native Banner and Self Service as well as any areas of MyDenison that connect to Self Service (for instance, Time Reporting or Time Approval). Administrative Computing is working to restore this service and it should be available by 11 a.m.
