[RESOLVED] Unplanned Campus-Wide Network Outage (Intermittent)

Update: 8/10/21 – 6:20 pm
The maintenance has been completed. ITS believes that the intermittent network outages are now resolved, but will continue monitoring over the next few days. Please report issues to the ITS Service Desk at 740-587-6395 or servicedesk@denison.edu.

Update: 8/10/21 – 4:00 pm
Although the network has been stable since the last update at 2:00, we continue to troubleshoot with vendor support.

Update: 8/10/21 – 2:00 pm
A change made at 11:55 resulted in improved network stability thus far, but we are continuing to monitor and troubleshoot for a complete resolution.

Update: 8/10/21 – 12:00 pm
ITS continues to research campus network connectivity issues with the highest level of vendor support. We do not yet have an ETA on a resolution.

ITS is aware of network connectivity issues continuing to occur on campus this morning. We do not have an ETA on a complete resolution at the moment, but we will update this post as soon as we have additional information.

ITS is continuing to monitor the network and working with the vendor to troubleshoot further.

Update: 8/9/21 – 14:15 
ITS noticed another network event from 14:01 – 14:10 which resulted in a momentary disruption in network connectivity. ITS is continuing to work with the appropriate vendor to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

ITS has noticed campus-wide intermittent network outages this morning causing a loss of wired/ wireless network connectivity. ITS is working on a resolution and will be updating this post. Please report issues to the ITS Service Desk at 740-587-6395 or servicedesk@denison.edu.
