Technical Services noticed intermittent internet interruptions this afternoon at 11am. The issue was noticed on phone calls and web browsing. This appears to have been resolved around 2pm. We are still investigating the root cause with our internet service provider (Oarnet).

There appears to have been an unplanned power outage that has impacted much of the wired and wireless network across campus. We will be looking into all outages and will give an update when possible.

Network has returned to Cinema House and Morrow.

Update 7-1-17 8:54am:

Power has returned to the majority of the network across campus. There are still network devices down in Cinema House and Morrow. We will resolve this as soon as possible.

According to the AEP power outages map, there is a power outage in the area. Due to this power outage there are wired and wireless network outages in several areas across campus. AEP is estimating a restoration time of 7:30am.
