A number of messages that were sent on August 6th and 7th via Denison listservs and from various systems (like the Global Access for DU Self-Service system or the Lanier “Scan to Email” function) were delayed and were just released on August 15th.
This occurred because of a prolonged cleanup process related to a hijacked user account being used to send a huge amount of spam that was identified on 8/6/13. While most of the valid messages were identified and released by 8/9/13, another subset were identified and released yesterday 8/15.  At this point, the cleanup process is complete and all messages believed to be valid have been released for delivery.

On Friday, February 22nd, between 4pm and 4:30 there was network instability that caused customers to get disconnected from Banner.  The problem has been corrected and network was stable again by 4:30.

Please note that the new MyDenison site does not allow access to those accounts that are not Denison Faculty, Denison Staff and Denison Students.  Accounts for contractor staff (e.g. Sodexo) and others that do not fall in the 3 main categories, must access their Denison Apps email and calendar directly at via the link email.denison.edu (or apps.denison.edu).

A bandwidth shaper configuration change will be put in place this evening at 6pm.  This may cause an internet outage of up to 15 minutes.

Updated configurations on most admin and academic building up-links between 6am – 7:30am this morning.  Will finish the remaining academic and admin buildings after 4:30pm today (Bryant, Physical Plant, Sigma Chi, and Library).  Will be updating configurations for dorm up-links throughout the day.  We will post updates as we start and finish general areas of campus.  The configuration changes may cause a momentary slowness or connection drop.

Update 11/9/2012: We continue to work on the problem with support.

We have several areas on campus where wireless is not working properly.  We are working with support to get the problem fixed.  Updates will be posted here.
