COMPLETED: Denison Phone/Voicemail System Update Overnight Mon 9/22-Tues 9/23

Update – 9/23/2025 3:10am

The vendor data center migration work is complete and you may use Denison’s phone and voicemail system with no further planned interruptions. There is one outstanding issue to be addressed Tuesday am which does not affect regular use of the phone system. If you experience any issues with phone calls or voicemails, please contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@denison.edu or 740-587-6395.

PLANNED OUTAGE: Denison Phone/Voicemail System, Mon 9/22/2025 11:00pm to Tues 9/23/2025 at 5:00am

Please DO NOT plan on using the Denison phone or voicemail system from Monday 9/22/2025 at 11:00pm to Tuesday 9/23/2025 at 5:00am. Denison’s phone system provider is completing a data center migration that may cause intermittent service interruptions for Denison’s entire phone system including desk phones, call forwarding, voicemail, and elevator, blue light, and other non-Cisco phones during this time window. Please use a non-Denison phone if you need to make calls.

This post will be updated when the work is complete. If you experience any problems with Denison’s phone or voicemail services after this post is updated, please contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@denison.edu or 740-587-6395. If you encounter problems before 8:00am, please notify the Denison operator at 740-587-0810.
