Resolved: Unplanned Network Outage – Network Service Interruption for Shorney Hall & Smith Hall

Update 6/6/16 12:20 PM:

Network and Cable TV to all locations should be up and running. Please report any network issues to the ITS Help Desk at 740-587-6395 or helpdesk@denison.edu. The Help Desk will reply as soon as possible during regular business hours (see www.denison.edu/its/helpdesk for hours).

Update 6/2/16 6:50pm:

Technicians have assessed the damage and have restored Network services to Smith & Shorney Hall . Cable TV may be down in Shorney, Smith, & the Sunsets apartments overnight. We will post another update as soon as we have more information.

There was pipe cut with fiber optic cabling in it this morning around 10:00am. Technicians have been out to assess the damage and are currently working to restore Network services later today. Cable TV will be down in Shorney, Smith, & the Sunsets apartments overnight. We will post another update as soon as we have more information.

Network services are currently unavailable at Shorney Hall & Smith Hall. Denison ITS is aware of the issue and looking into a resolution. We will update this post accordingly once we have an update.
