ITS is planning to install latest updates on Novell OES servers hosting shared network drives (PERSONAL, SHARED, MEDIA, SCRATCH, etc) on Thursday, 10/15/15 between 4:00am and 7:30am.  As these updates are being applied, there will be short outages for the above network drives and printing while servers are updated and rebooted to complete installation. Please do not update files stored on the network file servers during these time periods.

ITS will be updating print servers and the file servers hosting shared network drives (PERSONAL, SHARED, MEDIA, SCRATCH, etc) on Tuesday?3/17/15 and Wednesday 3/18/15 between 4:00am and 7:30am. ?While these updates are occurring, there will be intermittent outages for associated network drives and printing to networked printers. Please do not update files stored on the network file servers during these time periods.

On 02/10/15 ITS will roll-out an upgrade to the McAfee Agent on Denison-owned Windows computers. This upgrade is “silent” and will not impact your ability to use your computer while it is happening. On 12/1/14 ITS will adjust the McAfee scan settings on Denison-owned Windows computers to perform a quick scan daily and a full system scan every other week. This change is intended to catch malware and virus infections more quickly. Both scans are “silent” and will not impact your ability to use your computer while they are happening.
