ITS will be performing network maintenance on Thursday 10/29/15 from 5:00-7:00AM which may result in interruptions of the wired or wireless network in Fellows Hall on the Ground, 3rd and 4th floors. Maintenance will also be done on the FOCUS system (Opus) which will result in interruptions to that server.

Please do not edit files over the network or submit information online during this time period as your work may be lost when the network outages occur.

Update 7/30/2015 7:15am: This planned outage is complete.  The network is up and stable.

Update 7/28/2015 7:15am: This morning’s work is complete. The network is up and stable.  Note that the Wednesday, 7/29 work has been postponed until Thursday, 7/30/2015 5-7am.  The buildings that will be affected include Fellows, Barney, Library, Ebaugh, Higley, Olin, Swasey, Talbot, Slayter, and Knapp.

Update 7/24/2015 12:30pm: The campuswide outage scheduled for 8/1/15 has been postponed to a later date. A new announcement will be posted once it has been rescheduled.

Update 7/24/2015 12:00pm: A problem with people connecting to the network on wired ports in the dorms was found.  The problem has been corrected.

Update 7/24/2015 8:40am: A problem with people logging into their systems in the administrative offices was reported.  The problem has been corrected.

Update 7/24/2015 7:00am: This mornings’ work is completed. The network is up and stable.

Update 7/22/2015 3:15pm: Thursday’s maintenance has been postponed to Friday 7/24 from 5-7am.

While the upgrades are happening there may be brief interruptions to on-campus services and to Internet traffic from on-campus. Update 7/7/2015 10:00am – East Hall wired and wireless network access is now up.

Update 7/4/2015 8:10pm – East Hall wired network is now functional.  The wireless network in East Hall is down and will be attended to on Tuesday.

Currently all sites are back on the network except East Hall.  South campus (Bryant, Art, Monomoy, etc…) came back up about 11:00pm. All other areas seemed came up earlier this evening.  We are aware of a problem with East Hall.
