Information Technology Services (ITS) would like to inform the Denison community we are receiving several reports of Phishing where the sender and subject line are changing subtly where there is a request for faculty transcripts. This is not a message from ITS or from any member of our Denison community.

We encourage individuals to remain vigilant and take the following precautions:

• Avoid clicking on links in unsolicited emails and be wary of email attachments
• Use trusted sources
• Do not reveal personal or financial information in email, and do not respond to email solicitations for this information

The types of emails you may receive to get your attention to click a malicious link or open an attachment include:

• Fake school emails that provide information about a particular Denison group (e.g.; students, faculty, etc.)
• Emails requesting information from you
